The REEL QUIC accessory is designed to provide tradespeople with aquick, convenient way to work with heavy reels of electrical wire.A reusable design with simple installation and removal procedures,the REEL QUIC device could be an ideal tool for both commercial andhome do-it-yourself wiring projects. By offering a non-destructivealternative to traditional methods of mounting wire reels, it couldeliminate unnecessary damage to interior wall studs.
The REEL QUIC prototype was created to both simplify and expeditethe process of wiring residences, and according to the inventors,was designed and tested by a professional electrician andmanufactured by a metal fabricator. "We wanted to be able togo right into a house, get it wired and get it done," said oneinventor. "We made this accessory to take care of the wirewhile we take care of the rest."
The original design was submitted to the Boston office ofInventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale tomanufacturers or marketers.
