Red-light cameras are a revenue-producing move. That does not equalsafety. Traffic safety is about addressing and solving the trafficproblems to the benefit of the taxpayers and motorists of CollierCounty, not the dollar benefit to government.
Fellow candidate Kevin Rambosk feels enforcement equals safety. Ifthat is the case, then why do deputies have to run radar at ourschool and construction zones, allowing motorists to speed past ourchildren and workers so they can issue a summons. Is that what youcall safety?!
