Tokyo, Sept 26, 2008 - (JCN Newswire) - Showa Denko K.K. (SDK) hasestablished a wholly owned subsidiary Taiwan Showa DenkoElectronics Co., Ltd. to strengthen sales of LED chips.
Demand for LED lamps has been growing rapidly around the world,reflecting the progress in commercialization of LED-containingproducts. And Taiwanese LED lamp manufacturers are expanding theiroperations thanks to their international price competitiveness.Under the circumstances, demand for SDK's LED chips is growingsteadily in Taiwan for incorporation into LED lamps.
With the establishment of the new subsidiary, SDK will strengthenits customer support and meet market needs.
