AUSTIN, Texas - (Business Wire) Raven Industries, the manufacturerof lightweight Portable DGPS Pilot Systems, is pleased to introducethe Bluetooth Pilot Interface (BPI): a Class 1 product that givesship pilots a quality Bluetooth wireless device that transmits datafrom the ship ’ s Pilot Port Interface (PPI) to a computer.
The BPI features the Wire Wizard that automatically correctsmis-wired pilot plugs, a rechargeable battery, and smalllightweight packaging. The integrated status lights, automaticbaud-rate detection, and a Bluetooth data link provide aneasy-to-use, quick-setup solution to transfer the AutomaticIdentification System (AIS) transponder data to computers.
