Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) today announced a distributionagreement with SMSC that covers Asia (except Japan) and North andCentral America.
A global supplier of semiconductors that distribute video, audio,photos and data in the home, automobile, office and factory, SMSCdevelops semicustom and application-specific products that allowusers to access or transfer their digital content.
Among the SMSC products covered in the agreement are USB ports inLCD monitors and set-top boxes, flash media card readers inprinters, and Ethernet ports used in gaming systems and digitaltelevisions.
