Armed raiders rob pub, tie up staff after Marathon ends

MASKED raiders threatened pub staff, including two women, with a10ins knife and tied them up during a terrifying robbery ordealwhen they grabbed thousands of pounds.
Two men burst in at 8pm on Sunday (April 13) as staff were closing Booty's Bar in Narrow-street, Limehouse,after serving spectators who had been watching the London Marathonpassing the premises.
They called the manager by name and demanded the day's takings,then bound the hands of the four staff with plastic cable ties.
No-one was hurt and the staff were able to free themselves andraise the alarm after the raiders fled.
Now detectives want to speak to anyone who was returning home alongNarrow-street on Sunday.
"The manager is a nice guy, but is very traumatised," said Det Con Dean Musgrove .
"The raiders may know him as they called out his name."
The robbers had their faces covered and were wearing gloves. Oneraider was white, the other black. Both are described as around 5ft7ins tall.
"We are appealing to people coming home around 8pm who may haveseen the men hanging around in a car or the street," addedDetective Musgrove.
"They could have been there for a while, waiting for the pub toshut."
