BARA: The Khasadar Force on Monday foiled a terrorism bid byseizing an explosive-laden vehicle travelling from Khyber AgencysJamrud tehsil to Peshawar, officials said. Khyber Agency PoliticalAgent Tariq Hayat told Daily Times that terrorists wanted to takean explosive-laden car from the agency to Peshawar but when theysaw that a picket was in process, they parked the taxi (1784 WazirDand) and managed to escape, he added. He said Khasadar officialsrecovered massive explosives connected to a mobile handset totrigger an explosion from the car, adding that Khasadar officialsdiffused the device. staff report
