DO NOT GO FOR SPICE MOBILE, I HAVE PURCHASED A D-88n ON 25-06-08AND IT HAS MANUFACTURING DEFECTS FROM THAT DAY IN SOFTWARE ANDHARDWARE AS FOLLOWS: The vibration of the handset is workingsometimes for few hours and then again stopping working for fewhours. Sometimes the sms in Inbox shows the name and number of thesender as that of someone else from Phone Book. The sent sms arenot saved in 'Outbox' as is given in user manual. The sound of theReceiver fluctuates a lot and the voice of the other person on callis very peaky (sharp) and becomes very low and very highintermittently. When in outdoors the voice of the caller appearsvery distorted and not clear, so it is required to ask him torepeat his sentence again and again and even it appears very verydifferent in respect to the voice that is heard on other mobilesfor the same person. IT IS VERY EMBARRASSING TO ASK MY CUSTOMERS TOREPEAT THEIR SENTENCES AGAIN AND AGAIN. The voice of the callercomes after around 5 seconds of start of call. The sound of theReceiver is not sufficient to hear in outdoors. It is very hard torecognise the voice of the other person on call as the sound comessome what very sharp and fluctuating in DYNAMIC RANGE and a lotDistorted. It is not possible to delete any particular number fromCall Logs but needs to delete whole log. It is not possible to Adda new number to an existing contact directly from Call Logs butneeds to re-enter the number again by key-pad in that contact. Thenetwork gets lost very easily when other mobiles work fine at thatlocation of the same operator. The sound of Speaker Phone Crackswhen volume increased.
