Indiana company creates first responders emergency equipment unit

On Site Manufacturing, Inc. in Austin has created a unit thatprovides basic electricity, air condition and heat for tents forfirst responders in emergency situations.

 It's called PEACH;packaged, electric, air, conditioning, heating. PEACH features adiesel driven 45 kilowatt generator set, 10 ton capacity airconditioning and 30 kilowatt in two 15 kilowatt stages of electricheat. Under normal circumstances the unit can run about two andhalf days without refueling for a standard 30 by 30 tent. Mostrecently the prototype was used in Johnson County after theflooding to cool a tent to distribute ice.
