New Selector Switches to provide flexible digital signage implementations

LAS VEGAS-(Business Wire)-June 18, 2008 - Cables To Go(TM), aleading provider of high-performance cabling and connectivitysolutions, today announced new selector switches for routing audioand video in smaller digital signage applications, such as schoolsand restaurants or for home installation.
The 3x5 Component Video Matrix Selector Switch carrieshigh-definition video signals from any of three source devices toany of five TVs or monitors. It provides an affordable videodistribution solution for home installations and small to mediumvenues, such as churches, restaurants and bars. Audio istransmitted via optical digital audio TOSLINK or stereo audioconnections.
Users can connect inputs such as DVD players, satellite receivers,cable set-top boxes or gaming systems via component cables to thematrix selector switch. The switch can then be controlled with aremote control, front-panel buttons or from a computer using RS-232control.

For transmitting a video and audio signal in a classroom or schoolsetting, Cables To Go has four new matrix switches andswitcher/extenders for up to four computer inputs and up to fourdisplay devices. Built-in video signal enhancement allows for longcable runs without losing video quality. All of the devices workwith VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, UXGA and Multisync monitors.
The four new UXGA switches include:

— TruLink 4-port UXGA Monitor Switcher/Extender with Audio -select and broadcast video output and audio from one of fourcomputers on a single monitor or projector and send audio fromthose computers to a single speaker set
— TruLink 2x2 UXGA Video/Audio Matrix Switch - broadcastaudio and video from up to two computers to up to two monitors
— TruLink 4x4 UXGA Video/Audio Matrix Switch - broadcastaudio and video from up to four computers to up to four monitors
