Flexpoint Files Patent on Near Market Ready Seat Switch Technology

Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: FLXT) today announced thecompany has filed for a provisional patent on a variable speedswitch which utilizes the Bend Sensor(R) technology to control anelectrical motor in the seat.

Seat control devices currently on the market typically arecomplicated assemblies with numerous moving parts controlled eitherby a joystick type device or multiple switches to regulate themovement. These units tend to feature multiple sensors making themcomplicated, heavy and bulky in a time where space and gasefficient vehicles are at a premium.

Additionally, current assemblies are limited in their functionalityoften having just two states on or off; when the motor is on, itruns at a constant speed without offering the ability to preciselydial in the ideal seat position.

"We have filed the necessary documents to protect our interest inthe use of this technology and will now move forward to bring thistechnology to the marketplace," stated Clark Mower, CEO ofFlexpoint.
