In Aberdeen's July 2007 benchmark report, The Cost of Quality, itwas shown that Best-in-Class manufacturers have distinctcompetitive advantages in performance metrics. In addition to addressing performance, bio/pharma companies havethe additional mandate of complying with government regulation andproviding traceability in their operations.
