Resistance 2 will get a multiplayer PS3 demo in October, so saysSony Europe. Lovely  bring it on.
Ah, but this is Sony Europe were talking about here, so you canabandon all hope of anything as substantial as, say, a concrete flipping release date for the demo  after all they havent even announced one for thefull game yet. Grrr!
But youve got to love em, right? And the demo sounds like itllbe quite a biggie too. Heres what Sony reckons on its communityforums:
The event will allow PS3 owners the opportunity to be the first toexplore new levels, modes and weapons  as well as provideInsomniac Games, the developer of Resistance 2, and SCEE withfeedback on the game.
Note Levels, modes and weapons all in the plural? We do hope themarketing droid responsible for making this announcement wasntgetting a bit carried away with the S button. Anyway, more news onthis exciting development soon, with any luck.
In a not completely unrelated note Sony US has just announced alimited public beta test for LittleBigPlanet later this month.Inevitably there are no specific details about what, when and howlimited this test will be. Instead the US forum chap explains thevarious flavours of beta testing, chunders corporately about howtheyre looking to test the sharing, uploading, downloading and multiplayer aspects of the game and promises to come back at an unspecifiedlater date with concrete details about how to join in.
Sheesh, vagueness is like some kind of disease in the SonyCorporation, isnt it? And they expect to keep us all smiling mindswith this massive bounty of gorgeous new LittleBigScreens whilethey make their minds up? Damn, they know us too well...
