Glo clinches mobile cellular license in Ghana

Barely a week after Globacom's official launch of operations in theRepublic of Benin, the Nigerian company has procured a mobilecellular license in Ghana, heightening its position as a globalbrand.
An official news statement from Globacom indicated that Glo MobileGhana was awarded an operating license from the country's NationalCommunications Authority (NCA) in an official letter dated June 12.The letter stressed that the NCA looks forward to Globacom'senormous contribution to telecom development in Ghana, especiallyin terms of improving the ICT industry.
