Elite HDTM
Making its international debut at IBC2008, the award-winning EliteHDTM is the first camera-mounted DVR and player to harness the JPEG2000 (J2Khigh-quality video from HD-SD) compression codec forrecording HD-SDI video signals. The Elite HD gives broadcasters apowerful new option for recording high-quality video from HD-SDIcameras while reducing the costs of storage media. Designed tomount on the back or base of a camcorder, the Elite HD accepts anincoming HD-SDI video signal with up to eight channels for embeddedaudio and uses J2K to record at data rates of 100 Mbit/s withvirtually no loss in signal quality.

Omega HDTM
The choice of a U.S. national sports association, the HD version ofFFV's flagship high-end Omega DVR can record either SD or HD videowith high-quality J2K compression at 100 Mbits/sec. Using the OmegaHDTM recorder, users can simultaneously record, play, and storemultiple SD and HD video files and create video clips, loops, andplaylists using the simple-touch front-panel controls. This makesthe Omega HD ideal for many applications, including graphics andkey fill, station automation, spot insertion, and sports/instantreplay.

eClips
Introduced at the 2008 NAB Show in April, eClips is acost-effective and easy-to-use DVR for live broadcast production.In a single compact package, eClips gives broadcasters and cableproviders instant, on-the-fly access to video still/clip stores,animated graphics, and audio clips for enhancing live news, sports,and educational programs. Available for either SD or HD (SDI)broadcast, eClips provides large touch screen controls forunprecedented ease of use and supports a 16:9 aspect ratio for HDproduction. eClips is ideal for local TV stations and corporate A/Vproducers, as well as for rental and staging companies that producelive events.

Q HDTM
FFV's Q HDTM is a board-level HD DVR based on J2K compression. Withits broadcast-level image quality and near-lossless J2Kcompression, the Q HD is optimal for demanding HD recording systemsas diverse as broadcast remote control solutions and horse racingphoto-finish equipment. The Q HD is designed with the samecutting-edge DVR technology used in the Omega HDTM. It providesoutstanding image quality at 1080i, 720p, and 480i; records at datarates of 100Mbits/s; and offers 4:2:2 sampling and a full 10-bitquantization.

NDT200TM
The NDT200TM is a compact, portable DVR designed for videoprofessionals in broadcasting, law enforcement, security, andgovernment. The perfect drop-in replacement for tape-basedrecording devices, the NDT200 simplifies operations with anintuitive user interface and provides instant access to videorecordings via the removable 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or theon-board USB 2.0 port. The NDT200 combines a soft-button userinterface with large push-button controls that make operationsinstinctive even for new users. All functions can be controlledfrom the unit or an external PC.

Recon DVRTM
Used in video recording systems for space missions, FFV's ReconDVRTM is an ultra-compact, board-level DVR that deliversextraordinary image quality for a wide range of real-worldapplications. The "go-anywhere" design of Recon offers the ultimateflexibility to manufacturers of OEM products that can work instand-alone or portable applications without sacrificingperformance or quality. Based on the same architecture as theprofessional DigiDeck DVR, Recon DVR provides outstanding 720 x 486pixel image resolution and scalable compression with high-qualityvideo inputs and outputs to maximize image quality. With a choiceof either preassigned GPI inputs or an extensive menu of controloptions such as serial digital interface (SDI) and USB 2.0 downloadports, Recon DVR is versatile enough to satisfy a broad variety ofdemanding DVR applications in diverse markets.

Outrider DVRTM
The ultra-compact Outrider family of board-level DVRs is ideal forportable, high-resolution OEM applications for surveillance, lawenforcement, emergency first responders, and portable broadcasting.With its broadcast-level image quality and low 3-watt powerconsumption in a compact 4.9-inch x 2.2-inch x .6-inch package, theOutrider DVRTM has provided an ideal solution for a deep-sea videorecording system currently in use by a major oceanographic researchteam. The Outrider DVR is loaded with enhanced features such asvideo capture and playback at a true 60 fields per second,resolution greater than 550 lines at 4:1 compression,user-selectable compression ratios from 4:1 to 20:1, and recordingtimes averaging from four to 20 minutes per GB.
