Geo connects BIS into new data centre

Geo, a leadingprovider of dedicated fibre networks, today announced that BIS Ltd, a data centre and managed servicesspecialist, has signed a 3-year contract with Geo to provide itwith a diverse fibre route between three London data centres. Thisnew connection will provide faster connectivity to BIS and itscustomers across their network.
Geo implemented a diverse triangulated fibre route connectingTelehouse North, Global Switch and BIS' new data centre inGreenwich; thereby connecting the latter into BIS's own core 10 GigMPLS backbone. The connection will ensure that BIS customers haveaccess to all BIS data centres and will provide customers withindividual data centre to data centre connectivity and replicationservices.
Raj Bosamia, Commercial Director & Head of Products, BIScommented, "We chose to work with Geo because of its strategicalliances with key data centres. Because Geo already had a presencewithin our chosen facility, the implementation of our network wasfast and seamless."
