Dozens of vendors showcased many of their new products, with anemphasis on accessories and digital imaging, at the recent DigitalExperience show in New York City. Audiovox Accessories is entering the electronics cleaning and carecategory in September with its Surface line of products and kitsfor cleaning cell phones, MP3 players, computer monitors, TVs andother CE products. The bottles are designed to stand out on theretail shelves and include a compartment for a micro-fiber cloth.The cleaning solution contains no ammonia or alcohol and does notdrip or streak, according to the company.
The Surface line has 12 products, including:
- Screen-cleaning kits with 2 ounces of spray solution for portabledevices and 6.7 ounces for TVs and computer monitors
- Camcorder and digital camera cleaning kit with spray solution,cloth, screen protectors and applicator
- An EPA-registered antimicrobial cleaning solution for shareditems such as cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players, portable gaming,media devices, and ear buds and headphones
- Detailing cleaner swabs with multipurpose screen cleaningsolution
- Scratch repair kits for DVDs, CDs, game discs and portablescreens
