Gold price closes sharply lower in HK

Gold price in Hong Kong plunged 663 HK dollars to 8,513 HK dollars per tael on Thursday to seal the shortened week's trading because of the Easter Day holidays, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).
The price is equivalent to 919.45 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 72.5 U.S. dollars at Thursday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.772 HK dollars.
