Chemical compatibility offered by contemporary materials make newcomposite hoses ideal for transfer of a wide range of chemical andpetroleum products. For example, non-polar polypropylene resistspolar fluids such as methanol and sulfuric acid, and polarpolyester resists non-polar fluids such as gasoline or aromaticfluids. Composite hoses, consisting of multiple layers ofthermoplastic fabrics and films held in place by internal andexternal wire helices, are manufactured under tension to make themself-sealing.
TIFT-Compoflex® and Willcox Hose® products, engineered to providestructural support and crush resistance, are available in standardand customized end fittings to meet the specific requirements ofvirtually any application.
