SUMMARY: A meeting of the National Advisory Committee for AcuteExposure Guideline Levels for Hazardous Substances (NAC/AEGLCommittee) will be held on June 25-27, 2008, in Boston, MA. At thismeeting, the NAC/AEGL Committee will address, as time permits, thevarious aspects of the acute toxicity and the development of AcuteExposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) for 25 chemicals.
DATES: A meeting of the NAC/AEGL Committee will be held from 10a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on June 25, 2008; from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. onJune 26, 2008; and from 8 a.m. to noon on June 27, 2008.

I. General Information
A. Does this Action Apply to Me?
This action is directed to the public in general. This actionmay be of particular interest to anyone who may be affected if theAEGL values are adopted by government agencies for emergencyplanning, prevention, or response programs, such as EPA's RiskManagement Program under the Clean Air Act and Amendments Section112r. It is possible that other Federal agencies besides EPA, aswell as State agencies and private organizations, may adopt theAEGL values for their programs. As such, the Agency has notattempted to describe all the specific entities that may beaffected by this action. If you have any questions regarding theapplicability of this action to a particular entity, consult thetechnical person listed under FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT.

II. Meeting Procedures
The NAC/AEGL Committee meeting will address the followingchemicals: Acetyl chloride; arsenic pentoxide;3,5-dichloro-2,4,6-trifluoropyridine; ethyl benzene;ethylphosphonous dichloride; germane; isobutyl isocyanate;isopropyl isocyanate; methoxymethyl isocyanate; methyl iodide;methyl paraoxon; methyl parathion; n -butyl isocyanate; n -propylisocyanate; nitrosyl chloride; parathion; phorate; phosgene; sodiumdithionite; t -butyl isocyanate; t -octyl mercaptan;tetrachloroethylene; 1,1,1-trichloroethylene; trifluoroacetylchloride; and trimethylacetyl chloride.

The meeting of the NAC/AEGL Committee will be open to thepublic. Oral presentations or statements by interested parties willbe limited to 10 minutes. Interested parties are encouraged tocontact the DFO to schedule presentations before the NAC/AEGLCommittee. Since seating for outside observers may be limited,those wishing to attend the meeting as observers are alsoencouraged to contact the DFO at the earliest possible date toensure adequate seating arrangements. Inquiries regarding oralpresentations and the submission of written statements orchemical-specific information should be directed to the DFO.
III. Future Meetings
Another meeting of the NAC/AEGL Committee is scheduled forDecember 1-3, 2008.
