HTS Provides 70 License Plate Recognition Software Packages

HTS (Hi-Tech Solutions), Rishon LeZion, Israel, a developer andprovider of optical character recognition (OCR) computer visionsystems, has announced that it has sold 70 license platerecognition software packages to Engebras, a Brazilian provider ofhigh performance systems for traffic safety and access control.
HTS’s software is integrated with major product lines ofEngebras’s traffic management and security systems. Thesystems can be controlled locally or online, via the Web, and canbe integrated with police databases, depending on customer needs.
