Tinci cooperates with U.S. co, wins 2.4 mln pound contract in China

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Tinci Holdings Ltd. said its unit,Guangzhou Tinci Sanhe Environmental Engineering Co. Ltd., hassigned a technology cooperation agreement with U.S.-based DuconTechnologies Inc. to utilise Ducon's magnesium oxide flue gasdesulfurisation (MgO FGD) technology for the engineering ofselected FGD projects.
The China-based environmental engineering company also said it haswon a new FGD project contract from Chiping Aluminium worth 2.4million pounds.
The company said a byproduct of the MgO FGD process can be recycledand used for the production of sulphuric acid, which has seen anincreasing demand in China.
Tinci said it has also signed a letter of intent with ChipingAluminium to cooperate in sulphuric acid manufacturing.
The company said the project, located in Guangxi Province in China,will provide it with a new source of exciting business growththrough the manufacturing of sulphuric acid.
Tinci said it looks forward to announcing more deals in the nearfuture.
