High seas are risky business for wall

REPAIRS to the Prince Street sea wall at Cronulla are continuingdespite the pesky ocean causing trouble.
A few weeks ago one of the cranes on the site toppled over sidewaysand another, bigger crane had to be brought in to right it.
Then a week ago the barriers that were built to keep the sea outand the worksite dry were
knocked aside by a big swell.
On Thursday morning, a Leader photographer spotted this excavatorgetting its feet wet.
Another excavator was brought around the outside of the barrier,risking a second bogging at high tide, but could not free theunlucky piece of equipment.
