Metal plating process for high temp polymers

On Stand D11 at the UK's Subcon 2008 subcontracting exhibition, NEC, Birmingham, April 22-24, Saxonia Galvanik of Halsbruecke, Germany, will launch an innovative process for plating high temperature polymers with PPS coatings for electronics and antenna applications. The company offers a wide range of decorative and functional electroplated metal coatings on a wide range of plastics, including difficult materials such as mineral filled PA and ABS/PC.

The service offers full and selective plating, including high volume applications, with coatings that include copper, nickel, satin and glossy chrome, 3Q7 (aluminium look), and tri-chrome.

Saxonia also offers selective plating of two-component plastics parts with a special 2K-process, and will showcase components for internal and external automotive applications, telecommunications, electrical engineering, electronics and the and sanitary industry.
