Sentry Petroleum Retains Leading Independent Oil and Gas Evaluator

Sentry Petroleum (OTCBB: SPLM) announced today the formal hiring ofindependent oil and gas consultancy MBA Petroleum Consultants asthe company's independent evaluator. MBA Petroleum Consultants is aleading international consultancy that uses state-of-the-arttechnology for assessing the hydrocarbon potential of explorationassets. The company also provides Independent Expert Reports foruse in listing submissions to exchanges such as the AIM in Londonand the Australian Stock Exchange.

A Sentry spokesperson advised that MBA Petroleum Consultants iscurrently sourcing and loading over 3,400 kilometres of seismicdata. These seismic data will then be integrated with theinformation from wells drilled within and near the permit andinterpreted using new ideas for plays developed by both Sentry andMBA.
