NORCO has commissioned Accuweigh to install a complete palletising line for stacking bags of stockfeed at its Lismore branch.
The core of the line is a Fuji-Ace EC101 robot palletiser from Japan. The machine will work with other palletising equipment designed and made in Australia.
The system will include a bag elevating conveyor, vibrating conditioning conveyor, bag pick-up conveyor, the robot palletiser, an automatic pallet and slip sheet dispenser, a loading station conveyor, a filled pallet accumulation conveyor, and safety fencing.
According to the companies, with the exception of the Japanese-made robot palletiser, all other equipment is Australian. The system could be laid out in a flexible manner, fitting all the equipment into available floor space.
Norco Agribusiness markets a range of quality animal feed products under various brand names. The Lismore site in northern NSW manufactures and delivers a range of pelleted and mash feeds for all animal types including laboratory animals.
