'10,000 Meter Man' Expands His Business

A businessman who set up a meter solutions company in Birminghamfive years ago, has reached important milestones in his quest tobecome the leading UK supplier of metering equipment and hasrecruited new senior staff to help with the continued expansion ofhis company. MWA Technology, based in Aston, was established in2003 by Martin Wardell from Sutton Coldfield and the company is onthe brink of breaking through the £2 million sales barrier.

Over 10,000 gas turbine meters alone have been sold by MWA, whichalso supplies water, steam, oil, electricity, energy/heat metersand ancillary metering equipment to over 500 customers throughoutthe UK. The latest company appointments are; Steve Morris as salesand marketing manager and Denis Hirons as technical manager, bothwith considerable management experience in the meter industry.
