Managed Methods Adds REST Support to JaxView's Agentless Deployment

Managed Methods has announced support of REST style services totheir patent pending Agentless deployment options. JaxView hasseveral different deployment options including XML/Firewall,Agentless, Agent stub and ESB integration. Although JaxView has hadsupport of REST services in other deployment options, the agentlessoption only supported SOAP standard based services, until now.
The low footprint and payload nature of REST allows architects tocreate more services that can become a bigger part of theirinfrastructure. This type of implementation simplifies thecomponent and increases the scalability of the server component ina client/server architecture. REST also allows the messages to beself-descriptive and the interactions between services to be stateless.
As REST services are put into production there will be requirementsto gain visibility into these service type interactions. JaxViewcan provide that visibility.
