Nissei Plastic Industrial: Manufacturing to begin in China

One of Japans leading manufacturers of injection mouldingmachinery, Nissei Plastic Industrial (Nagano / Japan; www.nisseijushi.co.jp ), is planning to build a production facility in Shanghai / China.Construction is scheduled to begin this year, says Nisseispresident Hozumi Yoda, with the plant due to start operating in2009.
While it has a sales office in Shanghai, Nissei is the last of themajor Japanese injection moulding machinery producers to establisha plant in China. Capacity will initially comprise 180 ANXmachines annually, with most key components being sourced fromJapanese plants.
