Iran hosts int'l paint, resin and industrial coating exhibition

The 8th International Paint, Resin and Industrial CoveringExhibition will be held at Tehran's Permanent InternationalFairground in near future.

Announcing this on Monday, the official in charge of holding theexhibition noted that different domestic and foreign companies havebeen invited to showcase their products in an area of 15,000 squaremeters.

"The exposition indicates a boost in the fields of nanosection and new coatings compared to the previous ones,"Mahshid Monfared added.

She noted that the exhibition aims to expand interaction betweendomestic and foreign companies.

"The event also seeks to improve the quality and quantity ofIranian-made products for presentation on global markets.""During the event products such as chemical and raw material,production machinery, paint and industrial glues will be put ondisplay," Monfared said.

According to her, the exposition will introduce new job markets andmake domestic experts familiar with state-of-the-art technologiesand services.

"International companies are getting more interested in makinginvestments in Iran and sanctions imposed by some countries forIranian peaceful nuclear activities have had no effect on theprogress of this industry," she said.

She stressed that international exhibitions should meet globalstandards and serve to remove the shortcomings and introduceIranian products.

Monfared stated that on the sidelines of the exhibition severalworkshops and seminars will also be held. --IRNA
