Germany Elastogran increases prices for basic products and specialties

Elastogran is to increase its prices for polyurethane basicproducts and specialties in Europe with immediate effect.

The price adjustments were triggered by the development of costsfor crude oil and energy which concern all production-related costsof PU products (including manufacturing, freight and personneloverheads).
“The significant rise in raw material and energy costs forcesus to implement considerable price increases“, explains Dr.Uwe Hartwig, Managing Director of Elastogran and Group VicePresident Regional Business Unit BASF Polyurethanes Europe.However, it is currently not known, whether further priceadjustments will be needed. Existing contractual agreements will behonoured.
