It was also the Roman philosophy to have a private area to bath,allowing people to have a few minutes to themselves to rest andrelax. Today, we are expanding on their philosophy more and more.As our days get busier and busier, and people have less time tothemselves, the bathroom is quickly becoming a safe haven from theworries of the world.

The uniqueness of a bathroom is that it is its' own separate entityfrom the rest of the home. It is secluded from phones ringing,rambunctious kids yelling, and the drowned out background noise ofthe television. It's becoming one of the few places people cantruly escape to. It is only reasonable to expect that the bathroomhave the necessary amenities to provide that sanctuary.

Most bathrooms today have the necessary basins to wash themselves,and are stepping outside of the typical boundaries further thanever. People have whirlpool bathtubs, free standing tubs (meaningthey are not built into the wall), and space for storage galore.Today, most bathrooms don't just have storage closets though, theyhave beautiful pieces of furniture that have the sink basinattached to it, called bath vanities.

Today, they're being found more and more as houses get older andolder. They are a simple way to upgrade your bathroom into thepeaceful oasis that people crave, as well as providing a great dealof storage space. With people's lives bustling more than ever,everyone can use all the help they can get to enjoy some alone timein a place where you can take a few deep breaths and enjoy somepeace and quiet. Even Achilles needed a little help.
