What sounds like the clubhouse facilities of a vacation resort isthe list of the private amenities of a unique residence on a 60- by186-foot lot backing onto parkland that was once a tributary off acreek.
"It would be a paradise for someone who had children," says agentDouglas Freeman, though the home would also suite professionals whooften entertain, such as the sellers, he adds.
Situated on a cul-de-sac just west of Keele Street, betweenLawrence and Eglinton avenues, the property once belonged to theTimothy Eaton estate before sections were severed off and sold, theagents say.
The original residence had a traditional two-storey structure, buta previous owner extensively renovated and expanded it at the rear.

"It's well laid out for entertaining and finished very well," saysTrevor Freeman, who is also listing the property with his father."There are so many areas in the house that you can utilize fordifferent things."
Since the owners purchased it a year ago, a fresh coat of paint wasput up, along with some other changes to its decor.
But most of the work was spent repairing the lower-level roomhousing the indoor pool and then converting it into a salt waterpool, which tends to use less-harsh chemicals and increasesswimming comfort.
There is a flower-lined path to a front courtyard surrounded byfieldstone walls and a rooftop sundeck with fencing around itsperimeter.
"You can do whatever you want and no one will see you there," saysMr. Freeman of the sundeck. "You're sitting amongst trees, so it'svery peaceful."
Most rooms are at the rear, with nearly wall-to-wall andfloor-to-ceiling windows. "There's tons of light in the house,"says Mr. Freeman.
Even the six-piece master ensuite bathroom has glass blocks alongone wall to bring in sunlight without sacrificing privacy, Mr.Freeman notes.
A tennis court spans the rear section of this property as well asan adjacent one.
It is shared with the neighbours and is used as a hockey rink inthe winter.
"Its land that you could reclaim," says Mr. Freeman. "But you don'treally need it because you have so much space."
When it comes to entertaining indoors, people tend to gravitatetoward the impressive, main-floor kitchen and surrounding rooms,say the Freemans.
Renovated several years ago, the cooking area contains an islandwith a breakfast bar and an industrial quality gas stove and indoorbarbecue.
"That's the highlight of the house," says the elder Mr. Freeman."There's a stove in there that's probably worth what some [otherpeople's] kitchens are worth."
In one direction, looking past the island, there is a dining room.Looking to the other side, across the sink, there is a family roomwith a fireplace - which replaced a pizza oven - and an adjacentbreakfast area with decorative columns flanking its entrance andsliding doors to the rooftop deck.
"Everyone can be brought together there," Mr. Freeman says of thekitchen area. "It's a very nice place to entertain guests or sitwith your family if you're cooking dinner and your kids arewatching TV."
If not for a job opportunity that required relocation, the sellershad no reason to leave the house, adds Mr. Freeman.
"When they bought it, it didn't show well," he says. "They've donea lot of work to it cosmetically, changing it and making it lookmuch nicer."
The amenities
Like many rooms in the house, there are large picture windows inthe living and dining rooms. The former also has broadloomcarpeting, while the latter has marble floors.
The kitchen has a centre island with a breakfast bar and a viewinto a fireside family room and a breakfast area with a walkout tothe rooftop deck.
Upstairs, there is a full bathroom and four bedrooms, along with afifth bedroom that can double as an office since it features woodpanelling and built-in shelves. The master suite has its ownsix-piece bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower stall, whirlpooltub and a makeup counter.
The lower level has a second kitchen off the pool area, an extrabedroom, bathroom, gym and recreation room with a fieldstonefireplace, media centre and rear walkout.
Outdoor amenities include a private driveway to the double garage,a private front courtyard with fieldstone walls, and a backyardwith room for a large patio and shared tennis court.
