Crowne Plaza Northstar Hotel to complete $4.5M make-over

Crowne Plaza Northstar Hotel is wrapping up a $4.5 million renovation. The hotel, located indowntown Minneapolis, received renovations including remodeledguest rooms, an expanded lounge and enhancements in lobby areas.
The guest rooms got new furniture, carpet and window treatments and32-inch flat-screen televisions. The rooms are expected to becomplete by mid-July.
Santa Ana, Calif. -based real-estate management company Grubb & Ellis Co. (NYSE: GBE) said that interior design is provided by Ste. MarieDesigns of St. Paul.
The general contractor is Minneapolis -based Greiner Constructionand general contracting is being supervised by Wave Renovations ofInver Grove Heights.
The company also added that it will donate old guest room furnitureto Bloomington-based Bridging Inc., a non-profit organization thathelps economically disadvantaged.
