The very moment we stepped out of the arrival area of the Caticlan Airport, where we were flown in by Cebu Pacific's newly-acquired ATR-500 aircraft from Manila, a smiling young man, holding a digicam, met us, introduced himself and started taking pictures of us while his companion took and carried our bags, as they guided us to a waiting van.
It was "photo ops" (as we called it) here and there until we reached a private docking area at a nearby shore where a motorized banca was waiting to bring us to our destination -- The Boracay Tropics Resort Hotel, located at Station 2 in Bo. Manggayad on Boracay Island.

From the very start, I was just impressed by the quality Shower Room Door of service accorded to us by our welcome party from Boracay Tropics, including the boat-handlers who were very friendly and always on their smiling faces amid the summer heat.
It was VIP treatment for a group of editors and reporters from Visayas and Mindanao, invited by Cebu Pacific to a four-day fam-tour on this enchanting island. It was indeed a great start to a great stay ahead on the island.
When we reached this tropical island, a resort's vehicle was already waiting at the wharf that shuttled us to the resort, our "temporary home" on the island for four days.
Of course, our hosts -- Viveca R. Singson, corporate communications manager of JG Summit Holdings, Inc., RG T. Orense, Cebu Air's corporate communications manager, Charles Lim, Cebu Pacific PR consultant, and Annie Convocar, PR and marketing consultant of Boracay Tropics, facilitated our stay at the resort.
