Fundraiser aimed at helping fight rare disease

Rhythms of the Night, on South Main Street, will hold a Battle Actsfor Jack fundraiser July 27 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. to raise moneyfor research of histiocytosis, a rare blood disease caused by anexcess of white blood cells, which can damage the skin, bones,lung, liver, spleen, gums, ears, eyes and the central nervoussystem.
