An Idaho mother says she's being punished - fordisciplining her child.
Should the mother be punished?
Coeur d’Alene police issued Melisa Farrell a citation afterseveral witnesses complained she was too harsh while spanking hertwo year old daughter during a 4th of July parade.
Farrell says the little girl would not sit still and held the childto her chest to calm her.
"At one point I went like that and said now you need to stopand I stood her up and said hey seriously you cannot go across thestreet and I basically told her she can't go anywhere,”Melissa Farrell said. “And she continued to throw a fit. Asyou can see she does not like being told what to do.”
Farrell does not face criminal charges, but is under investigationfor injuring her child.
