You probably haven't heard of any of the bands because your radiois stuck on Z104 (or insert any other Tulsa station here) withtheir 300 song rotation limit. There is so much more good music outthere that doesn't get to the *Tulsa* radio that isn't confined bymajor labels or by what Clear Channel wants you to hear. You shouldcheck out DFest and discover some new music, both local and fromacross the country. That's what Diversa-Fest is all about! :-) Orif you are so scared that these oh so intimidating little Indie /artist type kids that are attending DFest are going to break outinto a fight...... then try satellite radio where there are morelike 2000+ song in rotation on one station, and you are not goingto hear the same dang song every hour shoved down your throat.

The people that bring us DFest do so to try to bring good diversemusic to Tulsa that we otherwise might not get exposed to. Last Iheard they even do the festival at a financial loss because theyare so passionate about bringing this wonderful festival to us.

I attended last year and I didn't see any drugs or fights. Theyserved beer, but is was all 3 point low alcohol. The Tulsa policewere present and all very nice ..... and everyone got along! :-)What I did see is lots of people having a good time, enjoying themusic and the friends.
