Jul. 13--Henrico County police are seeking two men in two robberiesof the same drug store yesterday.
About 2 a.m., a man entered the CVS Pharmacy at 5001 W. Broad St.,across the street from the Shops at Willow Lawn. He jumped over thecounter and demanded the clerk open the register, threatening tostab her if she didn't, police said.
After grabbing money from the cash drawer, he fled the store onfoot, police said.
Five hours later, the same person, accompanied by another man,entered the store, jumped over the counter and cut the same clerkwith a small pocketknife, police said. The injury was minor.
More money was stolen and the men drove away from the store in agray sport utility vehicle, police said.
Police described the first robber as a black male, 35 to 45 yearsold, about 5-foot-10 and about 175 pounds; with short black hair, adark complexion and a thin mustache; and an average build, voiceand appearance. He wore a faded polo shirt, black or blue pants, ablack baseball cap and tan boots. Police said he had a small,folding knife with a black handle.
The second robber was described as a black male, about 45 yearsold, 5-foot-7 and about 150 pounds. He had curly hair, a scruffybeard, a dark complexion, a thin build and a dirty appearance. Hewas wearing red shorts, a red T-shirt, a black ball cap and blacktennis shoes.
