Gradually, over eons, a thin layer of thismolten material and magma cooled into a crust  the earths mantle.In comparison, the crust is relatively about as thick as the skinon an apple. Inside that crust the hot, rich, molten magmacontinues to boil and bubble and forming new crystals. Carrying achemical imprint for evolution, some of these materials have grownin chambers deep underground. Others have been subjected to greatpressure and transformation. Many have been laid down in layers,some dripped into being. The method of formation affects theirappearance, energetic properties, and the way they function. (TheEncyclopedia of Crystals) Before I designed beaded jewelry, I was adental hygienist with a small bead and rock collection. As thiscollection grew my love for beads grew along with strong desireto create beaded jewelry. I enrolled in a bead class and began myjourney designing handcrafted beaded jewelry. With my background,knowledge, and great passion for beads; this was a perfect solutionfor me and my collection. After designing many necklaces,bracelets, and earrings; I began to sell my handcrafted beadedjewelry at many local craft fairs. Ten years later my beadcollection is full as I continue to create handcrafted beadedjewelry. My necklaces, bracelets, and earrings are all originaldesigns. I travel a great deal to find quality beads that arenatural crystals, minerals, and gemstones. I also hunt for unique,rare, and unusual findings. My pendants and sterling silver beadscome from around the world. Some of the products that are part ofmy collection include hand-made glass beads, Czech glass, pewterfindings, Swarousky crystals, and anything that excites me and willenhance my jewelry line, Sophisticated Bead.
