An expanded Babies“R”Us department opened in Toys“R”Us Times Square. The nearly 6,100-square-foot Babies“R”Usdepartment, located on Level Two, has a selected assortment oftraditional baby items for parents who travel by taxi or subway. Tocelebrate the department’s grand opening, the store will hosta celebration featuring a book signing event on Thursday, September4, and additional activities.

The book signing event, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, features the authorsof “Grandmother Book: A Book About You for YourGrandchild”. Throughout the opening weekend, the store willhost costumed characters, including Arthur, Barbie, StrawberryShortcake, Funshine Bear and Geoffrey. In addition, guests willreceive special deals and a complimentary Babies“R”Ussunshade and Geoffrey drawstring backpack for all kids, whilesupplies last from September 6 through September 7.
