Surprisingly perhaps, the libidinous "Loins of Longleat" is sayingnothing about the imminent arrival of a baby into his alwayschaotic domestic life.
At 76, of course, Eton-educated Alexander Bath has seen it allbefore.
He has two children - Ceawlin, Viscount Weymouth, and Lady Lenka,who were both sent to a local comprehensive school - by his wife,former actress Anna Gael. He has also admitted to one illegitimatedaughter born nine years ago whom he is understood to supportfinancially.

Now one of the newer additions to the harem, single mother AmandaDoyle, 41, an out-of-work music producer, tells me she is fourmonths' pregnant with Lord Bath's child.
Amanda, who has a teenage daughter from a previous relationship andlives in Islington, North London, has been happily telling friendsthe eccentric aristocrat is delighted with this development.
"Yes, I am pregnant," she tells me. '"Alexander is the father. Ofcourse, I am delighted and he is very happy, too. I am not quitefour months."
Of her own background, she tells me: "I used to be married to aSaudi Arabian. I have a daughter. I don't want to say any moreuntil I have spoken to Alexander."
Three years ago Ms Doyle, whose flowing attire matches theflamboyant hippy clothes worn by Alexander, claimed she and Bathwere trying for a child. She said: "As he's not really up to thejob any more, we have been having IVF treatment."
His response at the time? "She may have told you she's trying toget pregnant, but this is the first I've heard of it."
Family friends say Ceawlin, a 34-year-old property developer, willtake an extremely dim view of this development. He was in Russialast night and uncontactable. His TV producer sister Lenka, 38,will also be irritated by the claim.
When I called to congratulate Bath, he told me: "I am not going tomake any comment." Asked if he was the father of Amanda's baby headded, good naturedly: "I am not going to make any awful comment." Bling goes the Tory green agenda
