So the new church does not want to be tradionalist! I'll bet theydo when it comes to a tax free status and this property will nolonger be on the tax rolls. Thank's sterotyping????

I guess I'm tring to figure out what this new church stands for.They don't want the traditional symbols associated with churcheslike stained glass and crosses? Are they also not going to preachfrom a Bible or tell people there is a hell because it might offendsomeone? I am seeing this more and more and it is really disturbingto me how we are becoming more like the world to try to pull peoplein to church these days. The cross of all things to leave out of achurch to me seems rediculous.

 This is the very symbol of oursalvation and what Jesus did for us,(you know that dying for oursin thing). I guess for only being in my early forties I'm oldfashion in some ways. I beleive sin is sin and no matter whatsociety says is o.k. in this day of age we need more churches togrow a backbone and preach the word of God even if it meansstepping on some toes. Yes Jesus showed compassion to all peopleand wants the best for all of us but He also chased the moneychangers out of the temple with a whip when it was needed.Coincidently the next verse in John 2:16 says "Don't make myFather's house a marketplace".Hummmm...Just a little food forthought. I'm not against more churches in Kirksville don't get mewrong I just hope they don't start watering down their morals justto get people through the doors. shoe factory

oh great news, a Church that's schemed money from there followerhas enough to buy a factory building. i guess that will bring upthe economy in kirksville, yeah right. what a waste of a building ionce made a living in. how about selling a factory building to amanufacturer so we can get some much needed jobs in kirksville. ohwait i guess those jobs are in foreign countries now. beingsAmerica is for sale. print that ktvo.
