News Man dies after 'altercation' in Swanwick Police are appealing

Martin Argyle, of Lower Somercotes, appeared before SouthernDerbyshire Magistrates today.

He spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.

The case is to be transferred to Nottingham Crown Court for apreliminary hearing to be heard on June 23.

Father-of-three Mr Byard (55), also from Lower Somercotes, diedfrom a stab wound following an incident on Pentrich Road - and notoutside the Boot and Slipper as reported previously.
