Ed Hardy clothing label comes to NorthPark Center

Michael Jackson performed at his recent birthday bash andproclaimed him the King of Fashion. He sells his own energy drink.He's even an F.O.B. (friend of Britney). He's California-baseddesigner Christian Audigier, and he's bringing his Ed Hardy labelto NorthPark Center – along with some Hollywood heat.
Audigier first gained press and paparazzi props as head of earlynaughties sensation Von Dutch. By 2004, trucker caps and pinstripeTs had become both a mall and Punk'd staple, and Audigier had moved on to his own company, Ed Hardy byChristian Audigier.
The label takes its name – and colorful aesthetic –from "godfather of the tattoo" Don Ed Hardy, whosecatalog of designs Audigier purchased to splash across, among otherthings, caps, sneaks, scarves, hoodies, Ts and tube tops. The labelhas become a West Coast favorite, showing up on the backs (andbuns) of Madonna, Carrie Underwood and Snoop Dogg. The1,800-square-foot store, between Sheke and Original Penguin, is thefirst in Texas and will sell both men's and women's wear.
