Specially for kids aged eight to 14-years-old, this camp offerschildren the chance to have a go at water-based activities.Snorkelling, aqua jetting, raft races and rookie life guarding willall be on offer at centres throughout Edinburgh.

DISCO FEVER
This evening marks the first birthday party of Forth One's under-16club nights and to celebrate a special evening has been organisedat City Nightclub, Market Street, Edinburgh.

The event features DJ sets from Iain Waugh and Krystle as well asan exclusive live set from Sebastian Westwood performing Now You'reGone by Basshunter.

Identification is required to gain entry to the club and the eventoperates a zero tolerance policy towards alcohol. Further discosare planned all summer.

Meanwhile, funky beats and hip hop tracks are the focus of a seriesof dance sessions planned for all ages across the region.

TIME TEAM
From uncovering the mystical world of symbols used to create a coatof arms to using materials from the past to create modern art,there are a wide range of sessions at museums throughout the regionthat will introduce your child to the area's rich heritage.

SNOWSPORTS
Despite the expected summer sunshine, there will still be plenty ofchances to learn how to ski, board or blade at the MidlothianSnowsports Centre at Hillend. Half hour tubing sessions are also onoffer which will see kids whizzing down the nursery slope in roundinflatable doughnuts.

COOKING
Turn your children into foodies by enrolling them on a three-dayculinary class. Sessions at Beeslack Community High School inPenicuik have been designed for children aged eight and over andoffer the opportunity to make two different courses each day.Classes in how to make tasty bake treats are also available.

JUDO AND KARATE
