Seersucker Sunday: Show your stripes for St. Jude

For the first time in this tournament's 54-year history, the winnerwill not only take home a trophy, he will also become the proud newowner of a seersucker winners' coat courtesy of the classygentleman's clothier, Brooks Brothers.
Fitting of the tournament's southern home of Memphis, Tenn., theblue-and-white striped jacket will bring a little tradition andstyle to the event, and its custom-designed look will set it apartfrom the six other winners' jackets on TOUR. The champion's namewill be embroidered into the lining for an added special touch.

To celebrate the introduction of the latest menswear on the PGATOUR, Brooks Brothers is partnering with the Stanford St. JudeChampionship to bring "Seersucker Sunday" to the event.Fans -- and players -- are invited to join in the new tradition andwear seersucker to "show their stripes" for the St. JudeChildren's Research Hospital.
"Whether it is a shirt, pants, hat or even a ribbon, wearingseersucker on Sunday is a way for our fans to become more connectedto the tournament and a way for all of us to demonstrate oursupport of St. Jude - the most important element of thisevent," said Wes Kraker, general chairman of the Stanford St.Jude Championship board and president of Children's Champions forHope, Inc.
Brooks Brothers also unveiled a commemorative polo shirt, whichwill benefit St. Jude through the Eagles for St. Jude program andbe sold in its stores and onsite at the tournament. The commitmentfrom Brooks Brothers is being made in collaboration with its GoldenFleece Foundation.
