The veto competition was called "Cry Me a Veto" andfeatured a backyard full of onions. Contestant had to chop onionsand place them into a plastic square container hanging from theirneck (and under their nose!), and then transfer the chopped onionsback to their station. There, they would choose between placing theonions in their veto bin or their mystery-prize bin. At the end of45 minutes, whoever had the most onions, by weight, in their vetobin would win POV, while the top two mystery prize bins would win… a mystery prize! Once again, greed vs. strategy!
The contestants had three chopping tools to use: a mallet, a knifeand a dicer. April was filling both bins, while Memphis wentstraight for the mystery prize. Jerry wanted the veto so he couldback-door Dan, so you would think he would only use the veto bin.
They revealed the mystery-prize results first. Everyone had onionsin their mystery-prize bins except Libra. Memphis and April easilywon the mystery prizes. Memphis won a custom-made onion necklacethat he must wear for 24 hours. April's prize was much better. Shewon five designer outfits to take home.
The veto boxes were weighed, and Michelle was in first place at 31pounds with Jerry and Libra's boxes yet to be weighed. Libra tookthe lead by one pound, but Jerry swooped in and won the veto with36 pounds. He immediately began targeting Dan, trying to getMichelle to put him up as a replacement if he used the veto.
Meanwhile, the house was treated to a lavish feast courtesy of thelast food competition. Everyone took turns giving a toast as heatedrivalries were put aside for the moment. Dan tearfully apologizedto Jerry and Keesha, and April tried to patch things up. Librapulled Ollie aside and broke down in front of him because of whathe said to her during her fight with April. She told him Keeshaorchestrated Jessie's ouster.
After the dinner, Michelle set out to turn Libra and Keesha againsteach other. She had April tell Keesha about the comment Libra madeduring dinner that Keesha was only being nice to April because shewanted her designer clothes. Michelle brought Libra up to the HOHroom where Libra defended herself. It was an innocent comment saidin jest, Libra said, but the group took it and ran with it. Thenthe tables turned on Keesha when she admitted she was behindJessie's eviction. She stormed out of the room, and Michellefollowed after her. When they got to Keesha's room, she laid it allout for Michelle how April is getting away with everything and howfurious she is about it.
At the veto ceremony, Jerry continued his attack on Dan but, in theend, decided not to use the POV. Libra and Keesha remained on theblock, and Libra vowed to not go down without a fight …
Thoughts: Jerry is ridiculous. He talks a big game, but the onlyway he can win a competition is if there are other things to playfor.
Keesha and April really can't stand each other. They try to benice, but the negative feelings between them are evident wheneverthey are in a room together. I understand Keesha's frustration thatApril is skating by without accepting any responsibility foranything. After all, she got the Jessie ball rolling when she toldKeesha and Libra that he was the one talking behind their back.
If I were Dan, I'd promise April's alliance his vote this week toput to rest any lingering suspicions that he is America's Player…
