Eat Fat to avoid Vegetables and Fruits

Most health articles and books assume human beings are all thesame. Not so. We are unique. And yet we all get the same advice toload up on vegetables and fruits and keep away from fat.
Whatever the problem, fat gets the blame. Heart attacks. Cancer.Obesity. Soaring petrol prices. It doesn't seem to matter. Allwould be well if only we switched to healthy vegetables, fruits andgrains instead.
Fat Is Good
Well let me tell you about a medically approved diet for somechildren. 90% of the calories on this diet come from fat. The kidsare normal weight and their cholesterol levels only a tad higherthan usual. These children have epilepsy and this diet controlstheir seizures.
A typical meal of chicken, carrots, double cream and butter mightturn your stomach. But to these kids and their families, it's justwhat the doctor ordered.
What, you're not convinced? It's a special case you're thinking. Itdoesn't apply to the general population. For the rest of us, fatsare bad, vegetables and fruits are good.
No, it's not as simple as that. The number one dietary deficiency,according to some nutritionists, is.....fat.
Saturated fat from dairy foods and meat are not to be avoided likethe plague. They may not be the healthiest fats to eat, but humanshave evolved to eat it. The problem fats are the ones that comefrom eating the products of the fast food industry. This leads usto eat far too much trans fats and omega 6 fats and far too littleof the omega 3 fats derived from oily fish.

Glasgow University professor Kenneth McColl has given a warningthat vegetable consumption could be behind the UK's fastest growingcancer. He and his 10-strong research team believe that the threefold increase in throat cancers over the last 20 years could bedown to nitrate fertilisers.
Buying organic vegetables is not the answer. The also contain agreat deal of nitrate.
I could also talk about al the toxins, carcinogens and mutagensthat occur naturally in fruits and vegetables. But I'll leave thatfor now.
I could even mention those that are especially sensitive tocarbohydrates. They must limit their intake of vegetables andfruits because they cause their blood sugar levels to swing wildly.But we'll leave that alone.
I might even refer to those unfortunate people that have asensitivity to foods like oranges, grapefruit, onions and tomatoes.
I could even point to people who have an allergy to aspirin. Thechemical found in aspirin (salicylate) is also high in fruits andvegetables.
