Man\'s leg trapped in machine

A MAN'S leg became trapped in a rotovator as he tended his allotment.

The man was using the machine to turn earth on his patch of land when the freak accident happened at Fold Croft, Harlow, yesterday morning (Sunday January 27).

Firefighters were called to the scene shortly Rotovator before midday and worked for nearly an hour to free the man using hand tools.

He was finally released at 12:48pm and was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

It is not yet known how serious his injuries are.
